Author Debra Denker's two novels published through Catalyst have won prestigious awards. Her novel on Afghanistan, Love and War in the Land of Cain, won first place in the 2022 National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest. Her cli-fi time travel novel Weather Menders was named 2018 Cat Book of the Year by The Conscious Cat blog.
Catalyst is the latest incarnation of producer/director/author Debra Denker's decades-long commitment to bring healing to the world through media including film-making, writing, and photography. The most recent incarnation was Rainbow Lotus Productions, which created films in association with the non-profit program, Tibetan Video Archive Project, which in turn morphed into the Global Diversity Film Project as the work expanded into Africa and the U.S.
